  Erythrosiderite   Salammoniac

Comments: Orange-brown aggregates of erythrosiderite with sal ammoniac. Material from the 1926 eruption of the Erythrosiderite is hygroscopic and must be stored in a closed vial. The photo was made through the vial.
Location: Vesuvius, Naples Province, Campania, Italy. Scale: Picture size 4 mm.
