Comments: PPL (a) and XPL (b) of jonassonite (Jo) with inclusions of native bismuth (Bi) is intergrown with native bismuth (Bi) and bismuthinite (Bmt). (b) demonstrates the characteristic orange-red color of jonassonite. (CanMin, v44:1127).
Location: Nagybörzsöny ore deposit, Börzsöny Mountains, Hungary. Scale: Scale bar 100 µm.
